Girlhood

The childhood days or rather my girlhood days were innocent as the age. All ideas, thoughts , dreams and wishes seem to have wings. Emotion ran high, words came out without fabrication. Heart was tender as a sapling, fearing the gusty storm.Yet, one had to overcome it to grow. Belief came easily as breath, trusted love even after failing and with every mature sunrise, reality struck like an arrow! But I treasure those moments of Girlhood, who dared to dream, cared to follow and waded through formidable situations- Never gave up the spirit. Foolish she was called, but one has to dance in the rain to enjoy the rainbow. I took pride to be young and foolish than to be old and sensible. Girlhood still remains in me...because I dare to fail. I am preparing to set my sail!
